Track your daily diet and intake
Hi guys,
When I took nutrition class during my second year in college, our professor introduced us to a website called supertracker also known as choosemyplate.gov. It is a government site that offers the benefit of keeping track of your daily intake. In addition, you can check whether you are getting enough nutrients under the nutrition report. Empty calories and sodium intake are listed to help sure you to keep your diet within the healthy range. Sometimes if there are food you ate not listed on the website, you have to find one similar to it. For example, if you ate a brand of chicken sausage and it is not on the website, you should select one similar. The only nutrition you should not be concerned with is Vitamin D. I tried to browse many food and the only significantly high vitamin D food was salmon. Even then, you have to eat many salmons to meet the 100% daily value. I recommend go outside for a walk during nice sunny weathers and take supplements of cod liver oil. Cod liver oil is a cheap and effective natural supplement that keep your Vitamin A and D level optimal. The website is completely free to use and you may browse previous days you tracked your food. To have a record of your previous days, you need to register an account or else it will not save the data. Besides these feature, the website also have a fitness category that informs you whether you are getting enough daily physical activity. Overall it is a website I recommend for people who want to keep track of their diets.
Thanks,
